Winlaton Vulcans Football Club and Winlaton Juniors merged in 2020 to create a charity based club that is Winlaton Community Football Club, Reg Charity 1192193. This enabled the club to start proceedings for a better all round club and facilities for the kids coming up through the teams and the Men’s team. Please feel free to have a look around, see what’s planned and keep up to date with any news throughout the club.
The Axwell Project
Winlaton Community FC was founded in 2020 by merging Winlaton Vulcans FC and Winlaton Juniors Football Club who both had one vision to create a football club for the Community of Winlaton and surrounding areas. With over 250 members we are embarking on a very exciting journey, taking ownership of Axwell View Playing Fields Winlaton to expand the club and create first class facilities for both our members and people of Winlaton to enjoy and play sport.
This project has been many years in the making and we are extremely excited to get things moving with a number of key objectives to achieving our vision:
