Code Of Conduct

Player Code Of Conduct

Winlaton Community FC Juniors was established in 1978, providing children with a safe, fun and caring environment in which they can learn both football and life skills. We pride ourselves on being a club that will accept children of all abilities and ensure that we give them a great foundation to build on whatever their future may hold. It is extremely important that all parents/carers and coaches associated with Winlaton Juniors respect each other, the club, the children, officials and other clubs at all times. As of 2018, we have made it a club requirement that anybody associated with the club must understand the FA and Winlaton Community Juniors code of conduct and obey it. Please take time to read this document, sign the relevant sections. The Winlaton Community Juniors code of conduct is in conjunction with the FA Respect programme to ensure the safeguarding of all associated with the game. If you have any queries or would like to speak to a club official, please contact us via the following email address: winlatonjuniorsfc@gmail.com
When playing football/representing my team at club events, I will: Always play to the best of my ability for the benefit of my team. Play fairly – I won’t cheat, dive, complain or waste time. Respect my team-mates, club members, the other team, the referee or my coach/manager or club officials. Play by the rules, as directed by the referee. Be gracious in victory and defeat – I will shake hands with the other team and referee before or at the end of the game. Listen and respond to what my coach/team manager tells me. Understand that a coach has to do what is best for the team and not one individual player. Talk to someone I trust or the club welfare officer if I’m unhappy about anything at my club. Where provided I will wear club colours and kit at games, training and events to represent my team and Winlaton Juniors FC. Always act in a respectable way to convey a professional attitude towards the game and my club. I understand if I do not follow the code, any/all of the following actions may be taken by my club, County FA or the FA. I may: Be required to apologise to my team-mates, the other team, the referee, coaches/managers or club officials. Receive a formal warning from my coach/club committee. Be dropped or substituted. Be suspended from training/club events. Be required to leave the club. In addition to the above: My club may make my parent/carer aware of any infringement of the Code of Conduct. The FA/County FA could impose a fine and suspension against my club.
As a player for Winlaton Community Juniors I understand and agree to abide by the FA Respect and Code of Conduct at all times. I understand that failure to adhere to the rules at all times may result in my withdrawal from the team/club.(Required)

Parent Carer Code Of Conduct

Spectators and parents/carers We all bear a collective responsibility to set a good example and help provide a positive environment in which children can learn and enjoy the game. Remember children are playing the game for fun! Play your part and observe our Code of Conduct at all times: Applaud effort and good play as well as success. Respect the referee’s decisions even when you don’t agree with them. Appreciate good play from whatever team it comes from. Remain behind the touchline and within the designated spectators’ area (where provided). Let the coach do their job and do not confuse the players by telling them what to do. Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and match officials. Support positively, when players make a mistake offer them encouragement not criticism. Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour. In addition to the FA Code of conduct, please make sure you read, understand and agree with the following: Winlaton Community Juniors will not accept/tolerate poor behaviour of any kind from parents/carers or club members. Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer at all club activities/events. This includes training, games and all entertainment/fundraisers arranged by the club. Children should be well equipped for all games/training with appropriate clothing taking into consideration weather conditions, indoor/outdoor event. For training sessions, games, tournaments and external fundraisers club colours and kit should be worn where provided at all times. Children should always wear appropriate footwear and shin pads. Failure to do so will result in your child being refused to partake in any of the session. I understand that if I do not follow the code, any/all of the following actions may be taken by my club, county FA or the FA. I may be: Issued with a verbal warning from a club or league official. Required to meet with the club, league or CFA welfare officer. Required to meet with the club committee. Obliged to take an FA education course. Requested to leave the match/training venue by the club along with any dependants. Requested by the club not to attend any future games or training sessions. Suspended from attending the club along with any dependants. Required to leave the club along with any dependants. In addition to the above: The FA/County FA could impose a fine and or suspension on the club.
As a parent/Carer/spectator of the above named child I agree to abide by the FA Respect and Winlaton Community Juniors Code of Conduct at all times. I understand that failure to adhere to the rules at all times may result in both myself and my child being withdrawn from the team/club.(Required)
