Code Of Conduct

Winlaton Community FC Juniors was established in 1978, providing children with a safe, fun and caring environment in which they can learn both football and life skills. We pride ourselves on being a club that will accept children of all abilities and ensure that we give them a great foundation to build on whatever their future may hold.

It is extremely important that all parents/carers and coaches associated with Winlaton Juniors respect each other, the club, the children, officials and other clubs at all times. As of 2018, we have made it a club requirement that anybody associated with the club must understand the FA and Winlaton Community Juniors code of conduct and obey it. Please take time to read this document and complete the relevant questions.
The Winlaton Community Juniors code of conduct is in conjunction with the FA Respect programme to ensure the safeguarding of all associated with the game. If you have any queries or would like to speak to a club official, please contact us via the following email address: winlatonjuniorsfc@gmail.com

PARENTS/CARERS/SPECTATORS

We all bear a collective responsibility to set a good example and help provide a positive environment in which children can learn and enjoy the game. Remember children are playing the game for fun!

  • Play your part and observe our Code of Conduct at all times:
  • Applaud effort and good play as well as success.
  • Respect the referee’s decisions even when you don’t agree with them.
  • Appreciate good play from whatever team it comes from.
  • Remain behind the touchline and within the designated spectators’ area (where provided).
  • Let the coach do their job and do not confuse the players by telling them what to do.
  • Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and match officials.
